William MacDonald, VP, Analysis & Insights, joined VCC in November, 2015. Bill has embraced and contributed to the hospitality/meetings industry’s maturation for more than 25 years. He has spent most of his time with meetings & incentives companies including Conferon/Experient. Bill headed his own practice analyzing and providing recommendations for optimizing strategic meeting management (SMM) initiatives for large corporations. That focus was inspired by his work at Amway Corporation where he led a team of 18 professionals for five years. He also served as Chief Customer Officer with Zentila, a strategic sourcing solution for meetings & events. He has a deep understanding of all facets of the meetings industry, and with his very innovative thinking can generate ideas for any organization to propel them to the next level of success.
