We’re excited to welcome Wendy Holliday, Vice President, Attendee Acquisition & Experience to the Velvet Chainsaw Consulting team! Today is her first day on the job.
For the past nine years, Wendy has served as the Vice President, Marketing and Member Services for the National Association of College Stores (NACS). Her responsibilities included directing both a show and member marketing strategy, along with, sponsorship and advertising sales for Campus Market Expo (CAMEX), a Trade Show News Network (TSNN) top 150 show. Before NACS, Wendy was responsible for strategic partnerships and sponsorship for Certified Angus Beef.
Two critical needs of organizations seeking annual meeting improvement are increasing attendance acquisition and sponsorship revenues. Wendy will be charged with innovating and developing our recommendations in these two areas with a laser focus on improving the attendee experience. Our deliverables will often include strategies that map back to our client’s membership, or customer acquisition and retention desires.
2013 has been a year of growth and lots of change for our little niche consulting business. We’ve doubled our team and dramatically increased our ability to help our clients in all of the critical components of their major meetings and conferences. All of our pieces are now in place to fully execute our company’s strategy.
If you would like to connect with Wendy or welcome her to the VCC team, reach out to her on LinkedIn or drop her an email. She’s a super smart and totally awesome person that you’ll definitely want to get to know.
