Thank you for sharing this info; it’s thought-provoking. I know the survey intent was to shed light on small business event marketing practices but the results reveal so much more. It bothers me that 71% of small biz owners are planning marketing events … and potentially not achieving goals (because invited guests didn’t RSVP or show). The event industry has excelled in communicating the value of events; now we need a stronger message on the value of event [marketing] professionals.
