Betsy Bair to Retire from VCC

Betsy Bair, Vice President, Strategic Narratives at Velvet Chainsaw, will retire as of March 31, 2023. For the past seven years, Betsy has been instrumental in project managing many of VCC’s most complex client engagements. Her passion for studying and learning the business of each of our clients is unparalleled. Betsy is a client favorite and has fostered ongoing connections with many of the association leaders she has supported.

Our team will miss Betsy most of all. She lifts us up with her encouragement, great humor and keen insight. She is a thoughtful teammate, a terrific collaborator, a stupendous editor and an amazing friend. It has been an honor to work alongside her.

While her contributions at VCC and for our clients are significant, she also advanced the event planning profession. For over 30 years, Betsy was the editor and content director of Medical Meetings, Corporate Meetings & Incentives and several other industry publications that have evolved into today’s digital MeetingsNet. In 2005, she helped launch the Pharma Forum annual conference.
