The Pew Internet & American Life Project provides great data on Americans and the Internet.
The Project produces reports exploring the impact of the Internet on families, communities, work and home, daily life, education, health care, and civic and political life. They are a great resource of data for any conference organizer or assocation leader who says that their customers are not using the Internet, social media or today’s social tools.
Here is a recent PPT by Kristen Purcell, Associate Director Of Research on Information 2.0 and Beyond.
Why do so many association leaders think that their members are not using social media or the Internet today? Is it because they don’t use it that they feel others are like them?
